Stephanie Kauffman has been recognized by many writing contests, including the 2020 Braun Book Awards, which shortlisted her latest work, The Girl with Nine Lives.
She’s truly a globetrotter, having travelled to forty-two countries, and lived in nine states and four provinces. A teacher for over thirty-four years, Stephanie understands that children can learn important lessons from a good story. She teaches for the Airport Hutterite Colony, near Macdonald, Manitoba, and has done so for seven years. In The Girl with Nine Lives Stephanie seeks to help readers draw closer to God, and understand that He didn't just perform miracles in the Old Testament—He's still in the miracle business today! She wants readers to know that while it’s easy to compare ourselves unfavourably with others, everyone needs empathy from time to time, as we all go through challenges. Stephanie now calls Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, home. |
